A closer look:
The body of this gown is made of silver-gray faille embroidered with tiny diamonds. The bodice has a wide lace bertha collar festooned with satin ribbon roses and crystal beads. A wide sash of royal blue moiré ribbon is adorned with large crystal brooches. (The pearl necklace is not included.) The bodice closes in back on hooks and eyes.
The 1893 Bell-skirt is decorated with royal blue moiré ribbon and motif appliqués cut from the collar lace and beaded with blue crystal beads. The skirt has a wonderful sweeping train. The skirt is shown over a narrow 3 hoop petticoat and with a bustle pad. These are not included, however, I will provide a bustle pad for additional.
The bodice and skirt are fully lined in polished cotton, and is inner lined.
The measurements are: Bodice bust 39 inches, bodice waist 32 inches. Skirt waist 31 inches, skirt front length 40 inches.
