Victorian Day Dress

This charming, light as a feather, 1880's style Victorian Day Dress ensemble is fashioned from

off-white satin brocade featuring a peacock feather motif and brilliant blue silk Dupioni. 

The French Vest style bodice is fully lined in polished cotton and is inner-lined and closes in front with 14 painted black glass buttons.  The back is adorned with self-piping and orange bows that bring out the orange eyes in the peacock feathers.  The bodice has a petersham belt but is not boned. 

Bodice measurement are:  Bust 40 inches and waist 33 inches.

The street length skirt will accommodate a medium sized bustle (not included).  The skirt is lined in polished cotton

and is inner-lined.  The skirt closes on the side back with hooks and eyes. 

Skirt measurements are:   Waist 31 inches and front length 41 1/2 inches.

Included in this lovely three piece ensemble is a matching hat with a sculpted brim

with peacock feather and ribbon trim.
