This beautiful Romantic Era 1832 Gown is made of light weight taffeta,

trimmed in self-piping, and hand-made silk

and ombred taffeta ribbon flowers.

This gown features lovely full Gigot sleeves piped at the wrist

and are hook-and-eye closed. The bodice is lined in lavender cotton and

closes in back with hooks and eyes.

The skirt is self trimmed with a

ruffle featuring a scallop-pinked edge. Under the skirt is a full-length

hyacinth coloured petticoat gathered on a separate waistband and closed

on the side with hooks and eyes.

Dress measurements are:  Bust 38 inches, Waist 30 inches,

Length 57 inches from shoulder to floor.

 

 

 

This lovely matching bonnet is just the right piece to finish

your Romantic Era look. 

The self cover bonnet is trimmed on outside with silk and ombred ribbon

flowers and on the inside with shirred lavender polished cotton. 

Three brightly coloured pansies adorn the face of the bonnet.
